The easiest and fastest way to place an order is through our website. Simply browse available plants, add items to your cart, and submit your order or quote request. There is a $1,000 minimum purchase required to receive wholesale pricing.

Yes. Depending on the quantity you need, we can provide a discount and competitive pricing. Volume pricing is included in your quote when you send your plant list.

We respond to quote requests within one business day, usually faster.

Our online availability is updated live and reflects the most current inventory available. For customers who prefer a downloadable reference, we also publish an updated PDF availability list on a weekly basis.

Yes. We are happy to provide current photos of plant material upon request. If you would like to verify size, quality, or overall appearance before placing an order, simply contact our sales team and we will do our best to provide recent photos and additional information on available stock.

If the species or quantity you need is not in stock, we will work with you to find a comparable native tree, shrub, or herbaceous plant.

Contract growing gives wholesale clients access to species and quantities we do not typically stock. We contract-grow year-round and can work to your volume, size, quantity, and budget requirements. Contract crops start at the same time, so finished stock is uniform in age and size.

American Native Plants is a wholesale nursery, and our orders typically come from conservation organizations, utilities, municipalities, and contractors. Direct Native Plants is our retail side. If you are looking for native plants for your home or personal landscape, Direct Native Plants offers an online selection of native plants along with guidance to help you choose what works for your region.

You or your agent may pick up plants by appointment. Smaller orders ship by FedEx, UPS, or common carrier, and orders over 70 lbs are often palletized and shipped with our preferred carriers. Larger orders can ship directly to your facility or jobsite. Where possible, we combine loads along standard routes to keep freight cost-effective. Full details are on the Shipping page.

Yes. Pickup is by appointment and normally requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Our pick-up hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-2:30pm

We deliver on our own trucks within a 150-mile radius of each nursery. Beyond that range, orders are coordinated through a professional logistics service and delivered by brokered freight.

Illinois orders require a one-week lead time to cover pulling and transporting material. Questions about Illinois orders go to facility manager Jen Young at jen.y@americannativeplants.com.

Yes. Larger orders can ship directly to your facility or jobsite, and delivery quotes are provided quickly.

We accept check, Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, and ACH. Credit card purchases carry a 4% processing fee. Exact cash is acceptable at pickup only.

Yes. Net 30 billing is available to customers with approved credit. Customers can apply for net 30 terms after completing their first purchase. More information is available upon request.

Invoices are sent the same day or within one business day of your order.

We guarantee that your plants are true to name and in good condition at the time of pickup or delivery. We will replace or issue credit for any plants that are misrepresented or diseased. All orders are subject to crop failures, damage by natural causes, and conditions beyond our control, and our liability is limited to refund or replacement. Acceptance of material at pickup or delivery confirms the stock is healthy; we offer no further guarantee of survivability after that point.

Yes. American Native Plants does not use neonicotinoids, a class of insecticides known to harm bees. If your grant or program requires neonic-free stock, ours qualifies. More on how we grow is on Our Nursery & Our Practices.

Yes, on request. Provenance is confirmed through our inventory data, along with photos and size verification.

Yes. We can provide a W-9 and certificate of insurance upon request. If your project requires other procurement or compliance documentation, let us know what you need.

We grow natives for the Eastern U.S. and Midwest, and our plants are best suited to those climates. Species that thrive in these regions may not perform as well in hotter, arid western environments. If your project sits outside our core range, we can talk through fit before you order.
